Air Systems Analyst – Skill Level 1

Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) is seeking an Air Systems Analyst – Skill Level 1 to support MCIA intelligence activities in Quantico, VA.
The analyst will conduct all-source analysis of foreign air and air-defense systems, platforms, capabilities, operations, tactics, sensors, weapons, readiness, and associated command-and-control infrastructure. The position supports intelligence requirements related to Marine Corps acquisition and capability development.
The PWS specifically requires analysis of foreign air forces and air-defense systems, including exercises, tactics, platforms, sensors, strategy, doctrine, weapons, readiness, logistics, C2, defensive systems, and air-base infrastructure.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source analysis of foreign air and air-defense systems and forces.
- Analyze foreign:Fixed-wing aircraft
Rotary-wing aircraft
Unmanned aerial systems
Surface-to-air missiles
Air-to-air missiles
Sensors and defensive systems - Assess foreign air-force exercises, tactics, strategy, doctrine, weapons, and readiness.
- Analyze military and commercial aviation activities, including aircraft, cargo movement, logistics, maintenance, and infrastructure.
- Assess command-and-control architecture and air-base infrastructure.
- Research and evaluate multiple intelligence sources to identify trends, vulnerabilities, capabilities, and intelligence gaps.
- Produce intelligence assessments, reports, briefings, and other analytic products.
- Coordinate with other analysts, collection managers, and Intelligence Community stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to work on-site in Quantico, VA.
- Working knowledge of foreign air systems, air defense, military aviation, or a closely related intelligence discipline.
- Ability to conduct structured all-source research and analysis.
- Ability to evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of intelligence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce concise analytic reports and briefing materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience / Education
- Minimum 3 years of analysis experience relevant to the labor category, with some experience within the past 2 years.
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the labor category preferred.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience, for 7 total years, may substitute for the bachelor's degree
