Project Manager – Sterile Processing Services

To support sterile processing and surgical operations at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, this role provides onsite Project Management and Medical Supply Technician support within Sterile Processing Services (SPS). The position directly supports minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures and instrumentation reprocessing across multiple clinical departments.
This role is embedded within VA clinical operations and supports patient care infrastructure serving Veterans.
Position Responsibilities
Provide onsite project management support within Sterile Processing Services (SPS).
Support minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures.
Support reprocessing of MIS-related instrumentation.
Support reprocessing of all instrumentation for:
Main Operating Room
Urology Clinic
ENT Clinic
Speech Pathology
Anesthesia
Cardiology Cath Lab
Pulmonary Bronch Lab
Sterile Processing Services (SPS)
Work within the operational environment of the MEDVAMC surgical and clinical departments.
Support coordination and execution of SPS-related services in alignment with facility operations.
Required Qualifications
Experience performing Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing Services) functions.
Ability to perform services onsite at MEDVAMC (Houston, TX).
