Registered Nurse (Geriatric)
SRG is seeking a geriatric nursing service at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The Registered Nurse (Geriatric) will provide direct patient care in a Community Living Center (CLC) environment, consistent with VA standards of care and applicable federal healthcare requirements.
Menlo Park, CA (on-site)
- Provide geriatric nursing care on-site at VA Palo Alto Health Care System facilities, primarily Menlo Park
- Deliver nursing services consistent with standards of care used in state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facilities
- Perform clinical duties within RN scope of practice in accordance with VA policies, directives, and handbooks
- Coordinate with VA clinical staff to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Accurately document care and comply with VA timekeeping and sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Adhere to infection control, privacy, and patient safety requirements
- Complete all VA-required training prior to first shift and annually thereafter
- Comply with VA scheduling requirements and assigned shifts
