Research Engineer III

Position Responsibilities
This role involves providing technical and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation of complex engineering systems. Responsibilities include designing, conducting, and evaluating new approaches to meet technical requirements efficiently, performing risk assessments, and leveraging emerging research concepts to drive improvements. The Research Engineer will also provide recommendations and strategic guidance on research development, optimization, and support initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a master’s degree and/or Ph.D.
- 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a wide variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is the top-level contributor/specialist. May oversee and provide guidance to team members.
