Sr. IRIS Analyst, Part-Time On-Call - Remote - TS/SCI

We’re looking for a seasoned IRIS (Intelligent Research and Information System) expert to support proposal and business development efforts, plus provide light quality review when needed. This is a flexible, remote, part-time/on-call role that ramps up during active proposals or key customer support moments.

Position Responsibilities
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll jump in as the “go-to” IRIS voice when we need fast, accurate, and compelling input. Your work may include:
- Help position IRIS in the Intelligence Community marketplace using smart commercial marketing and messaging strategies
- Advise on working with commercial marketing vendors or subcontractors
- Support proposal teams by ensuring IRIS capabilities are explained clearly and competitively
- Write or refine proposal sections (technical approach, capability statements, past performance narratives)
- Review deliverables for quality and consistency, making sure IRIS-related content meets requirements
- Provide guidance on how IRIS supports real mission needs (collection, targeting, analysis, dissemination)
- Partner with Business Development, Capture, and Program teams on pursuit strategy and win themes
- Stay current on IC priorities, new requirements, and competitor landscape
- Provide rapid-response support when timelines are tight
Required Qualifications
What we’re looking for
Required
- Strong background in commercial marketing/positioning (market strategy, competitive analysis, partner/vendor engagement)
- Experience supporting or writing proposals for Intelligence Community customers
- Solid hands-on familiarity with the IRIS platform (what it does, how it works, where it fits)
- Experience reviewing or improving intelligence products or technical documentation for quality
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and juggling multiple priorities
- U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance
- Education/experience mix:
Bachelor’s + 12 years, or Master’s + 10 years, or PhD + 7 years
(Additional experience may substitute for education)
Preferred Qualifications
Nice to have
Capture or Proposal Manager experience with a proven win record
Experience assessing subcontractors and vendor security requirements (facility clearances, etc.)
Hands-on experience deploying/configuring IRIS in an operational environment
Familiarity with competitor tracking, win/loss analysis, and intel tool market trends
Experience building QA/QC processes or SOPs
Strong network within the IC and defense industryWhat to expect
