Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support mission-critical operations in a high-security DoD environment. This role supports operational forces through the design, installation, and sustainment of enterprise communication networks and IT systems within a classified environment.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience supporting secure networks, troubleshooting system issues, and working within enterprise-level DoD IT infrastructures.
Position Responsibilities
- Support installation, testing, and sustainment of enterprise networks, including classified systems (e.g., JWICS and similar environments)
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure and system connectivity issues
- Provide engineering and sustainment support for communication systems and IT equipment
- Support installation of cabling, hardware, and software to enhance network capabilities
- Configure and manage user accounts, laptops, and mobile/remote access solutions
- Assist users with VPN and remote connectivity troubleshooting
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of IT/network hardware with appropriate teams
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
- 1–3+ years of experience in systems administration, network support, or IT operations
- Experience supporting DoD or enterprise IT environments
- Familiarity with secure networks and classified systems (e.g., JWICS or equivalent)
- Experience with:User account management and system configuration
Troubleshooting network/system issues
Hardware/software installation and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Marine Corps or DoD operational environments
- Familiarity with enterprise networks such as MCEN or similar architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification
- Experience with remote access solutions and mobile device management
