Weapons Systems Analyst – Skill Level 1
Quantico, VA — On-site
SRG is seeking a Weapons Systems Analyst – Skill Level 1 to support MCIA analysis of foreign and adversarial weapons systems.
The analyst will research foreign weapon capabilities and tactics, support threat modeling and Red Force simulation, help build realistic threat scenarios, and produce intelligence assessments regarding adversary capabilities and their implications for U.S. and Coalition systems.
The PWS specifically calls for analysis and operational insight on foreign weapons systems, Red Force simulation, threat modeling, threat laydowns, exercise support, vulnerability assessment, and intelligence production.
Position Responsibilities
- Research and analyze foreign and adversarial weapons systems.
- Evaluate weapon-system capabilities, vulnerabilities, tactics, and operational employment.
- Support threat modeling and Red Force simulation.
- Assist in development of realistic threat laydowns and engagement scenarios.
- Support joint and Service-level exercises.
- Collaborate with Blue Force analysts to assess system vulnerabilities.
- Analyze foreign precision weapons and indirect-fire platforms.
- Assess emerging technologies and technology transfer.
- Support intelligence production through reports, assessments, and briefings.
- Evaluate strategic and operational implications of adversary weapon capabilities.
The broader PWS also requires analysis of current and future foreign lethal and non-lethal weapon systems, including capabilities, vulnerabilities, production, stockpiles, deployment, proliferation, and impacts to U.S. and Coalition forces.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to work on-site at Quantico.
- Working knowledge of foreign weapons systems, military capabilities, threat systems, or related intelligence topics.
- Ability to conduct all-source research and analysis.
- Ability to produce intelligence assessments and briefings.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience / Education
- Minimum 3 years of relevant analytic experience, including some within the past 2 years.
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category preferred.
- Additional experience may substitute for the degree: 7 total relevant years in lieu of the bachelor's.
