Meet Our Owners: Bill Dunn
Born in St Clair, Illinois, Colonel Dunn’s journey began in the US Marine Corps in 1983. Rising through the ranks, he combined his military career with academic pursuits, earning a bachelor’s in business administration from Old Dominion University and later an MBA from Boston University.
His remarkable military journey includes roles as an AH-1W attack helicopter pilot, various operational leadership positions, and ultimately, the command of HMLA-369 during OIF 06-08, command of MAG-40 and command of the 22nd MEU. Decorated with the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and Defense Meritorious Service Medal, among others, his career is a testament to dedication and excellence.
After retiring from a 33-year distinguished career in the Marine Corps, Colonel Dunn assumed the role of President at Strategic Resilience Group LLC. His focus on resilience and adaptability is not just a professional choice, but a life mission, deeply rooted in his extensive experience in high-stakes environments.
Beyond his illustrious career, Bill is a devoted family man, married to Miriam O’Such, and a proud father to Sarah and Laura. His personal life, as much as his professional achievements, shaped his understanding of resilience, strategy, and leadership.
