Medical Supply Technician – Sterile Processing Services (SPS)

To support minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures and clinical instrumentation workflows, this role provides onsite Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing Services) support at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.
This position supports the reprocessing of surgical instrumentation across multiple specialty departments within the VA hospital environment.
Position Responsibilities
Support minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures.
Reprocess MIS-related instrumentation.
Reprocess all instrumentation for:
Main Operating Room
Urology Clinic
ENT Clinic
Speech Pathology
Anesthesia
Cardiology Cath Lab
Pulmonary Bronch Lab
Sterile Processing Services (SPS)
Perform services onsite at MEDVAMC in Houston, TX.
Support surgical and clinical operations through sterile processing activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience performing Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing Services) functions.
Ability to perform services onsite at MEDVAMC (Houston, TX).
