Military Information Support Operations (MISO)/PSYOP Integrator – DoD TS/SCI

As a MISO/PSYOP Integrator, you will embed deep psychological operations and military information support expertise into Combatant Command (CCMD) level planning and execution. You’ll ensure MISO and PSYOP functions are fully synchronized with deliberate planning and crisis response efforts, advising joint staff and senior planners on integration, execution, and assessment. This position is integral to shaping operational outcomes across the information domain and aligning effects with national security objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate MISO/PSYOP tasks into CCMD planning processes and ensure consideration across contingency and operations plans.
- Provide mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and detailed assessment support.
- Leverage information systems and information related capabilities (IRC) to enhance planning effectiveness.
- Facilitate integration with interagency and intelligence community stakeholders.
- Develop innovative concepts to counter or influence adversary use of information across cognitive, cyber, and electromagnetic domains.
- Review, analyze, and operationalize IO-related tactical and operational directives to support maneuver elements.
- Advise planners on measures of performance/effectiveness tied to MISO/PSYOP actions.
- Demonstrate expertise in briefing, negotiation, and persuasive communication with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of planning experience with a BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA (additional relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree).
- MISO/PSYOP Expertise: Prior service in MISO/PSYOP career field (37A/37F or equivalent) with at least 5 years of integrator level experience at the joint or CCMD level.
- Joint Planning Acumen: Deep understanding of joint operational planning, military decision making, campaign planning and targeting.
- DoD Doctrine Knowledge: Proficient in DoD, Army, and joint doctrine, policies, and regulations affecting information operations.
- Cross-Functional Awareness: Familiar with military deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations and how they intersect with MISO/PSYOP.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional oral, written, and visual communication skills capable of briefing senior leaders and influencing key decisions.
- Travel: Active US passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent joint or service level planning experience.
- Training or certification in joint information operations planners course, joint cyber operations planners course, Defense OPSEC, or other Irregular Warfare specializations.
- Experience developing information products using advanced technologies to support decision making.
