Network Engineering Support (TS/SCI)

Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineering Support professional to assist with the design, installation, testing, and sustainment of communication nodes, automated systems, and associated equipment supporting the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) in Quantico, VA.
Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and sustain network assets across the environment.
- Support installation, testing, and sustainment of the MAGTF Regional Area Network (MRAN) provided through MCB Quantico G-6.
- Troubleshoot and identify system issues related to component connections; coordinate notifications to appropriate government offices as required.
- Conduct bi-weekly testing and document components supporting communications architectures.
- Provide sustaining engineering support for network systems.
- Assist with installation design, new cabling runs, hardware/software installs, and enhancements to extend network capability.
- Support administration of network storage arrays and an email archiving system.
- Support Microsoft update and systems management services (for example, SUS/SMS).
- Assist with administration of storage area network fiber channel routers and switches.
- Operate and maintain network management systems, including primary and limited-backup network operations centers and in-band/out-of-band network management.
Required Qualifications

Education and Experience (one of the following):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 3+ years of related experience, or
- Associate degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 7+ years of related experience
Certifications:
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II (or intermediate level of DoD CSWF standards), and
- Juniper or Cisco certified network professional, or Extreme Networks Professional certification
Security Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI, or adjudicated eligibility within the past 2 years
- US Citizenship required
