Registered EEG Technologist – VA Puget Sound Health Care System (Seattle Campus)

Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) is seeking an experienced Registered EEG Technologist to support the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle Campus. This onsite role supports veteran patient care and requires strong technical performance, professionalism, patient safety awareness, and the ability to meet VA credentialing, onboarding, and occupational health requirements
Position Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-standard EEG and evoked potential procedures
- Conduct awake, sleep, portable, ECS, and long-term monitoring/CCTV-EEG procedures
- Set up, operate, and adjust EEG and related neurophysiology equipment to obtain high-quality recordings
- Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and position patients safely before, during, and after testing
- Obtain relevant clinical information from the patient, family, requisitions, and medical records
- Maintain accurate documentation and support associated clerical requirements tied to patient exams
- Communicate study information to providers and collaborate with Neurology Service and the Epilepsy Center of Excellence
- Support equipment maintenance, inventory awareness, infection control, and reusable medical equipment procedures
- Perform quality assurance tasks and assist with operational improvements as needed
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Current EEG certification/registration through ABRET or AAET
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of current experience as an EEG Technologist
- Recent EEG Technologist experience in a hospital setting, including outpatient and inpatient units, including ED and ICU
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA
- Must be able to successfully complete VA credentialing, onboarding, background check, fingerprinting, badge access, and required training before start
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting VA, DoD, or federal healthcare environments
- Military-connected background
- Local to the Seattle, WA area
