Weapons Systems Analyst – Skill Level 2
Quantico, VA — On-site
SRG is seeking an experienced Weapons Systems Analyst – Skill Level 2 to provide advanced intelligence analysis of foreign weapons systems and adversary capabilities in support of MCIA.
The analyst will assess current and future weapon technologies, capabilities, vulnerabilities, tactics, proliferation, operational employment, and impacts to U.S. and Coalition systems. The position also supports Red Force modeling, exercises, threat laydowns, and acquisition-focused intelligence.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of foreign weapon systems and associated military capabilities.
- Assess current and emerging:Lethal and non-lethal systems
Precision weapons
Indirect-fire systems
Advanced weapons technologies - Evaluate system capabilities, vulnerabilities, production, stockpiles, deployment, and proliferation.
- Forecast future technologies and identify new military applications of mature technologies.
- Assess technology-transfer implications.
- Support Red Force planning and threat modeling.
- Develop realistic threat laydowns and engagement scenarios.
- Assess Blue Force vulnerabilities to foreign weapons.
- Work with engineers, scientists, and/or modelers regarding foreign weapons technology and dual-use capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive intelligence reports and briefings.
- Identify intelligence gaps and support collection activities.
The PWS explicitly includes collaboration with engineers, scientists, and modelers and analysis of foreign weapons processes, capabilities, and dual-use technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to work on-site at Quantico.
- Comprehensive knowledge of foreign weapons systems, military capabilities, or associated intelligence problem sets.
- Demonstrated all-source intelligence production experience.
- Ability to independently assess technically complex information.
- Strong intelligence writing and briefing skills.
- Experience collaborating with other IC analysts and technical SMEs.
Experience / Education
- 8+ years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with recent experience within the past 2 years.
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the labor category.
